America’s wind power veterans: Thank you

This Veterans’ Day we want to thank the many men and women who have served our country. They make up a large and critical part of our wind energy workforce, and American wind power is better off because of their skills, knowledge and expertise.

That’s why this weekend we’re asking Congress to continue protecting American wind jobs. Veterans find wind jobs at a rate 50 percent higher than the average U.S. industry, according to the Department of Energy. Troublesome language in the House’s tax reform bill could put over 50,000 of these jobs at risk.

You can hear stories below from just a few of the many veterans working in wind today. We salute your service.
