Background on Justin:

Justin was born on September 24, 1979 in Robinsdale, Minnesota.  He grew up in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota where he attended Park Center High School.  After graduating in 1998, Justin attended Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota in 1998, and was a member of the Reserved Officer Training Corp.  During his junior year, he graduated from the United States Army Airborne School.  In 2002, he graduated from Saint John’s University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army.  After a short stint of Gold Bar Recruiting at Saint John’s University, Justin attended the Armor Officer Basic Course at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and then assigned to 3 Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, at Fort Drum, New York.  He was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II to Mosul, Iraq with the 3rd Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.  He was assigned as the Scout Platoon Leader with the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop.  Justin returned after the 13 month deployment, branch transferred to Ordnance, and was assigned to E Forward Support Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Regiment Cavalry, at Fort Hood, Texas.  After Hurricane Katrina, he deployed to New Orleans, Louisiana in support of Operation Katrina. He then deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 06-08 as a company commander for B Company, 15th Brigade Support Battalion.  Upon the completion of his second deployment, Justin left the Army and joined Horizon Wind Energy as an Assistant Operations Manager Meridian Way Wind Farm consisting of 67 V90 3 Mega-Watt Turbines, located in Cloud County, KS.  After completing his Masters in Business Administration at Norwich University, and two years in Kansas, Justin transferred to his current location at Pioneer Prairie and Prairie Star Wind Farm.  Pioneer Prairie is owned and operated by EDP Renewables, and is a 300 Mega-Watt site located in Mitchell and Howard County.  Prairie Star is a 100 Mega-Watt site located in Mower County.  In 2012, Justin was promoted to Senior Operations Manager.  Justin currently resides in Rochester, Minnesota.
